About the role:
The Regional Recruitment Manager – Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will achieve student enrolment and profit goals for their portfolio of Agents, Partner Institutions and direct applications across all UP Education University partnerships, Higher Education Providers and VET providers in Australia and New Zealand. Some of the responsibilities for this role will be to:
- Identifying suitable education agents and design & implementing suitable agent management schedules and incentives to meet recruitment targets
- Managing depth relationships with key agent partners
- Contributing to the wider sales strategy for Subcontinent region
- Cost effectively managing the wider agent network in regions. Delivering service experience and profitability across the region of responsibility for students and business partners
- Identifying appropriate sales sources and channels for recruitment
About you:
Ideally, you will have a tertiary qualification in Business and/or Marketing with minimum 3 years experience in sales and marketing. Preferably with specific experience with pathways and/or higher education programmes that have exposure to an agency/indirect distribution model. You will describe yourself as a commercially savvy sales professional with a successful track record in delivering results, especially via the delivery of indirect sales management though a B2B network.
You will have the ability to build relationships and influence across all levels of the organizations both internally and externally along with the experience nurturing customer relationships and working proactively to recognise customers’ business requirement. This role will require frequent domestic travel within Sri Lanka and Bangladesh for partner meetings and events and occasional overseas travel. In addition, you must also:
- Fluency in English, and at least a second language which is relevant to the region
- An established network of contacts within the education agency network of Sri Lanka and Bangladesh who have a track record of performance with positive visa outcomes
- Be result orientated with the ability to successfully deliver on sales, financial and customer satisfaction outcomes
- Have the ability to deal with ambiguity and change and the ability to work with a team through change
- Experience in managing sales, budgets, and projects within a marketplace
- Strong sales planning ability around developing and implementing strategic and tactical plans for a portfolio of customers
- Knowledge and understanding of the international student marketplace and the challenges within this industry
- In-depth knowledge of the New Zealand and Australian education system and visa regulations
