About the role

We are looking for a teacher who can teach Year 13-equivalent Biology and/or Chemistry, providing a caring, safe, and stimulating environment, with high academic expectations, excellent classroom management skills, and with an understanding of supporting English language learners. This role has the potential to take on some laboratory management responsibilities for additional remuneration, for the right candidate.

You will teach students at a Foundation level (equivalent to Year 13) a university-approved curriculum amongst a team of talented and dedicated teachers.

You’ll also have an interest teaching in a variety of contexts, and be capable of teaching with video technology as some portions of some courses are taught in a hybrid mode with students online-offshore.

The position is part-time, 6 month fixed-term starting in July, with the possibility of becoming full-time and/or permanent as our student numbers continue to grow rapidly. Remuneration will be based on the successful candidate’s experience and qualifications.
