About the role:
We are looking for a teacher for our Pathways Link Programme who can teach Year 13-equivalent Geography and, with support, other liberal arts subjects, providing a caring, safe, and stimulating environment, with high academic expectations, excellent classroom management skills, and with an understanding of supporting English language learners.
You will teach students at a Foundation level (equivalent to Year 13) a university-approved curriculum amongst a team of talented and dedicated teachers.
You’ll also have an interest teaching in a variety of contexts, and be capable of teaching with video technology as some portions of some courses are taught in a hybrid mode with students online-offshore.
Key Tasks/Responsibilities:
- To teach interactively and effectively across a variety of platforms
- To complete administrative tasks efficiently and be responsible for assessment data
- To set high standards and expectations and assist students as required
- To serve the needs of students
- To promote the Graduate Profile in the planning of all Teaching units/lessons
- To have a passion for our students and have them at our core.
- To attend key school events.
The salary for this position will be $70,779 per annum. The position is permanent full-time (40 hours Monday to Friday).

Required skills/experience:
- Currently hold a teaching, education or other related qualification
- Additional qualification related to sciences is advantageous
- Proven background in teaching in primary/secondary level (minimum 1 year experience)
- Subject matter knowledge on geography, environmental sciences, or other related fields
