As Global Experience Advisor you will play a key role in delivering exceptional global mobility opportunities for students.

You will support the administration of programs and events, provide expert advice to students and stakeholders, and help grow participation in inbound and outbound experiences that enrich learning and strengthen partnerships.

In this role you will:

  • Assist with the coordination of global experience programs from promotion and application through to pre-departure and return processes.
  • Provide timely, accurate advice and support to students, staff, and external partners to ensure a positive experience.
  • Maintain program records, manage exchange balances, and contribute to reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in planning and delivering events and sessions that enhance engagement and program visibility.

This continuing position is full time and will be located at the Callaghan Campus (Awabakal land).

 

How will you inspire us?

You will have:

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, with experience managing events and multiple priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with both students and staff and build trusted relationships.
  • Data literacy and proficiency in enterprise systems, with the ability to analyse trends and support program planning.
  • Experience in international education or student mobility programs is highly favourable.

The remuneration for this position is Higher Education Worker Level 5 + 17% superannuation and is commensurate with skills and experience.

  1. Completion of a degree without subsequent work experience; or completion of an associate diploma and at least 2 years subsequent relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of professional administration relevant experience and/or education/training.
  2. Demonstrated experience in administration and event management, including excellent organisational and time management skills. Demonstrated ability to gain a detailed understanding of the international education market, including university and higher education policies and external environment.
  3. Demonstrated data literacy, with the ability to provide information for reporting, planning, review and improvements of programs and processes; read and interpret charts, analyse metrics, identify trends, and report on findings; and proven ability to develop technical proficiency within enterprise-scale software such as CRM, student management systems, and Office 365.
  4. Highly developed interpersonal skills including the ability to participate in a team environment demonstrating clear communication and mutual respect.

And Desirable Criteria if applicable:

  1. Experience in the international education market, including working with overseas partner universities.
  2. Experience in the administration of student mobility / global experience programs including semester exchange or short-term opportunities.
  3. Hands-on experience in social media and basic design skills and marketing strategies.
