We are now seeking our next Chief Financial Officer to lead a high-performing finance function, as well as planning, coordinating and directing the provision of high-quality financial services for the University.

As a commercially astute senior finance professional, you will be responsible for managing the financial resources of the University while developing appropriate strategies to optimise the provision and use of funds consistent with our objectives, plans and policies, including budgeting, management and statutory reporting.

You will develop and maintain strong and effective professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, working collaboratively across functions, Divisions and Colleges to achieve set objectives.

An influential leader, you will manage a large team and set an example of strategic partnering and driving quality service delivery outcomes.

You will have visibility at Executive Leadership Team and Council level.

In addition to providing financial stewardship and governance, you will be a contributor to our domestic and global strategies and be responsible for developing initiatives, whilst maintaining strong cash flow management and providing input into the overall strategic direction of the University.

To be considered for this outstanding career opportunity, you will need to demonstrate that you have a track record of large-scale financial leadership, management and planning, together with a detailed understanding of financial reporting and governance, from a complex enterprise, either in higher education or within a transferrable industry or sector.

You are an entrepreneurial thinker, with outstanding communication skills and a keen interest in solving problems and driving outcomes, shaping a function to deliver on organisational needs.
