We believe every student deserves quality teaching, every day – and we’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented marketing and communications professional to help us tell that story and grow our reach.

In this role, you will:

  • Execute marketing and engagement initiatives including email campaigns, social media, blogs, news stories, brochures, and event promotion.
  • Bring our impact to life through compelling storytelling – from sharing teacher success stories to highlighting national research results.
  • Manage and maintain our digital presence, including websites, social media channels, and eCRM systems.
  • Create marketing collateral and multimedia content, and ensure our brand is consistent across all channels.
  • Monitor education news and social media trends to keep our team informed and engaged.
  • Provide support for internal communications, reporting, and administrative tasks that keep our programs running smoothly.

This full time position is fixed term for 12 months at a HEW 5 Higher Education Level located at Callaghan Campus.

  1. Relevant degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or completion of an associate diploma and at least two years of subsequent relevant work experience in marketing, communications, media, journalism or public relations; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  2. Excellent writing skills including experience drafting blogs, news stories, website content, social media posts and content, and EDMs/emails for a variety of audiences.
  3. Experience creating digital assets for websites, social media platforms, eCRM and e-Newsletter platforms.
  4. Experience using current design technology and software, including the Adobe Creative Suite of applications including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  5. Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to identify and translate stakeholder briefs into viable outputs and participate in a team environment demonstrating clear communication and mutual respect.
  6. Demonstrated high level organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines and competing stakeholder expectations.
  7. Knowledge of, and experience in adhering to workplace policies and procedures in the areas of work health safety, equity, diversity and promoting a respectful workplace culture.

 DESIRABLE CRITERIA 

  1. Knowledge of eCRM systems (i.e. Microsoft Dynamics 365) and/or E-Newsletter platforms (i.e. Campaign Monitor, MailChimp etc.).
  2. Knowledge and understanding of website CMS (Wordpress), architecture, user experience, and analytics.
  3. Knowledge and use of photo and video editing applications including Adobe Creative Suite.
