As Student Communications Coordinator you will play a key role in shaping and delivering high-quality communication to current students.
You will support the Senior Manager, Student Information, by coordinating projects and managing workflows to ensure timely, accurate, and engaging information reaches our diverse student community.
In this role you will:
- Oversee the planning and delivery of student communication campaigns and content across multiple channels, including email, web, signage and socials.
- Coordinate workflow allocation within the Student Communications team to meet stakeholder needs and deadlines.
- Provide leadership support and mentoring to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration.
- Use business and engagement metrics to drive innovation, helping to shape the student experience.
This continuing position is full time and will be located at the Callaghan Campus (Awabakal land).
How will you inspire us?

- Proven experience in communications or customer marketing, ideally within a higher education setting, with a track record of impactful campaigns.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate a team and build collaborative relationships across diverse areas.
- Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

The remuneration for this position is Higher Education Worker Level 7 + 17% superannuation and is commensurate with skills and experience.

- Demonstrated experience with and understanding of the tools and channels that can be utilised to engage our diverse range of current students. This must include email marketing as a primary channel.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of communications professionals to produce coordinated, integrated campaigns across the student/customer lifecycle.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills including the capacity to build relationships and an inter-disciplinary way of working.
