As Stakeholder Manager you will provide strategic leadership to build and grow meaningful, long‑term partnerships that advance Indigenous priorities and create lasting impact for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, staff, and communities.
Working closely with The Wollotuka Institute, the University, and external partners, you will lead culturally grounded engagement across community, industry, and philanthropic contexts.
In this role you will:
- Lead the development and stewardship of high‑value community and philanthropic partnerships aligned to Indigenous priorities and the Wollotuka Cultural Standards.
- Provide senior cultural and strategic advice, guiding complex engagement, negotiation, and decision‑making that impacts Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
- Drive University‑wide and inter‑institutional initiatives, including cross‑unit working groups and large, multi‑stakeholder projects.
- Shape strategic cases for support, frameworks, and protocols that underpin sustainable, Indigenous‑led philanthropy and engagement.
This contingent position is full time and will be located at the Callaghan Campus (Awabakal land).
How will you inspire us?
You will have:
- Aboriginality, as a genuine occupational qualification authorised under Section 14 of the NSW Anti‑Discrimination Act 1977.
- Extensive experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, with a strong, informed understanding of community‑led priorities, cultural knowledge, and leadership.
- Proven capability to influence senior stakeholders, lead complex initiatives, and deliver strategic outcomes through strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

The remuneration for this position is Higher Education Worker Level 8 + 17% superannuation and is commensurate with skills and experience.
