As Learning Technology Support Officer, you will play a key role in supporting academics and students by ensuring a seamless experience within the University’s virtual learning environment (VLE).

You will provide expert assistance, resolve technical issues, and contribute to system improvements that enhance teaching and learning.

In this role you will:

  • Act as the first point of contact for VLE users, delivering high-level customer service and effective problem resolution.
  • Triage and manage requests received via phone and email, providing solutions or escalating to the appropriate team members.
  • Conduct system testing and provide feedback to inform upgrades and improvements to learning technologies.
  • Offer clear advice and guidance to users, ensuring compliance with established processes and best practices.

This continuing position is full time and will be located at the Callaghan Campus (Awabakal land).

 

How will you inspire us?

You will have:

  • Experience with university technologies – teaching and learning technologies preferred.
  • High-level digital proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office and confidence in navigating online technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative approach.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and manage competing priorities.

The remuneration for this position is Higher Education Worker Level 5 + 17% superannuation and is commensurate with skills and experience.
