The Role
As the Lecturer in Business Analytics you will work across the three main areas of Research and Innovation, Teaching and Learning and Service and Engagement. You will be responsible for developing and delivering exceptional postgraduate and undergraduate courses in the field of Business Analytics. You will contribute to in areas of predictive modelling, artificial intelligence, business intelligence, natural language processing, and unstructured data modelling. You will undertake high quality research within the business analytics field and contribute towards multidisciplinary research projects embedding research findings into your teaching strategies.
This continuing position is full time and will be located at the Newcastle City Campus (Awabakal and Worimi land).

How will you become part of our community?
You will attract external research funding and focus on community engagement. You will contribute to the local and global advancement in the business analytics field through multiple research projects and partnerships and embed your research findings into your teaching strategies. You will prepare relevant lab activities, software applications and develop data modelling whilst building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
You will use creative and innovative methods to develop and deliver interdisciplinary, technologically contemporary and industry relevant courses. You will teach high quality technical and commercially relevant skills in the business analytics field to ensure that our students graduate work ready.
How will we support you?
The remuneration for this position is from $101,197 - $120,173 + 17% superannuation.
