Be challenged and imagine with us

As Senior Frontend Developer (ReactJs)*, you’ll play a key role in leading the design and delivery of modern web and mobile applications, while mentoring junior developers and contributing to the evolution of core technology platforms.

In this role you will:

  • Lead the development of ReactJS-based applications and modules, ensuring high-quality deliverables aligned with project goals.
  • Collaborate closely with technical leads, business analysts, testers, and project managers to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Provide expert guidance and support across the University on frontend technologies and development practices.

*Internally this position is known as Senior DevOps Engineer.

This 2-year position is full time and will be located at the Callaghan Campus (Awabakal land).

 

How will you inspire us?

You will have:

  • Significant demonstrated experience with ReactJS and TypeScript, including mobile and web application development.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS tools such as CloudFormation, Lambda, API Gateway, and Cognito, along with experience with Rest and Http APIs and Web Sockets.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with ability to mentor junior developers and work effectively across diverse teams.

The remuneration for this position is Higher Education Worker Level 8 + 17% superannuation and is commensurate with skills and experience.
