Digital transformation is at the heart of the University of Newcastle’s strategic direction — and we’re seeking a number of Change and Adoption Analysts to help make it happen.
In 2026, the University of Newcastle will continue its exciting program of work in a range of fields including implementation of Generative AI tools, cyber security initiatives, enterprise Service Management (ServiceNow), enterprise CRM (Microsoft Dynamics), audio visual technology (Zoom), HR (SAP) and research systems.
Working within the Delivery Practice and you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of change and adoption activities that ensure new IT solutions are successfully embedded across the University. Guided by best practice principles and in line with University frameworks, you’ll contribute to initiatives that enhance digital engagement and build user confidence across our academic and professional communities.
Our Change and Adoption Analysts will:
- Support the development and delivery of change, communication, and training plans aligned with project objectives.
- Identify and engage key stakeholder groups to foster trust, awareness, and buy-in.
- Conduct change impact assessments and monitor adoption rates to measure success.
- Prepare and deliver change and adoption activities such as workshops, communications, and training sessions.
- Collaborate across teams to develop knowledge content and ensure effective training delivery.
- Monitor feedback and use insights to inform adoption strategies and drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain governance by ensuring all change documentation is accurate, approved, and stored appropriately.
About you
You’re proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, transforming environment. With experience in change management, digital adoption, project delivery or training, you bring strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a genuine interest in helping people navigate change and adopt the latest technology. You’re at ease building relationships across a variety of stakeholder groups and can balance multiple priorities while keeping your eye on the bigger picture.
These full-time positions are fixed-term roles for up to 24 months located onsite at Callaghan Campus.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience of the related technologies and/or Higher Education.
