We are seeking a highly skilled, influential, and solutions-focused Enterprise Architecture (EA) Specialist to help drive the University’s next phase of transformation. In this role, you will shape the enterprise-wide view of our business capabilities—spanning processes, information, systems, and enabling technologies—and translate that understanding into integrated strategies that deliver measurable outcomes.

You will guide the design of business focused, cost-effective, and strategically aligned technology landscapes. By defining architectural standards, assessing technology options, and stewarding stakeholder buy-in, you will provide clarity and direction for solving complex architecture challenges across the institution.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and maintain Architecture Blueprints aligned to the University’s strategic priorities.
  • Plan and manage delivery of the EA roadmap, guided by business needs and digital strategies.
  • Assess emerging and existing digital technologies against the EA framework to maximise value and minimise cost and risk.
  • Own the architecture community of practise bringing together enterprise, business, experience, service and solution architecture practises.
  • Lead the creation and continuous improvement of tools, structures, and processes for managing application and technology portfolios.
  • Establish and maintain architectural standards and guardrails to support consistent, high-quality decision-making.
  • Actively contribute to EA governance, ensuring alignment, transparency, and accountability.
  • Analyse and advise on the financial implications of solution options.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities to leverage emerging technologies to meet current and future organisational needs.

This is a full-time, ongoing HEW 8 position, located at our Callaghan Campus (Awabakal and Worimi land).
