Your focus:
This is your opportunity to lead the Retail Channel and Customer Strategy for UCC Australia, focusing on UCC Mocopan, and supporting Toby’s Estate retail sales. This role is pivotal in driving growth through the development and execution of Customer and Channel Plans, while fostering strong collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. Your ability to lead new ways of working with our customers will be critical to our success - transforming insights into strategies that unlock growth.
Day to day, you’ll drive commercial conversations, influence contract terms, support tender submissions, and shape joint business plans. With a sharp eye for emerging opportunities, you’ll identify promising prospects and develop innovative strategies to broaden our market presence. You’ll also play a key role in launching new blends, equipment, and RTDs - ensuring we remain ahead of evolving consumer trends.
Your profile:
You might currently be a Key Account Manager, or working in sales within foodservice, grocery, or hospitality. You could also come from a different industry where you've built strong commercial partnerships and consistently delivered results. What matters most is your ability to influence outcomes, build trust, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. You're driven to create lasting partnerships and deliver value that goes far beyond the product. And the rest....
- Proven account management experience - 5+yrs experience with a track record of growing and sustaining customer relationships. Coffee expertise is a plus, but not essential
- Standout communication skills - clear, concise, adaptable, and authentic, able to engage stakeholders at every level.
- High emotional intelligence - resilient, self-aware, and positive, with the ability to manage long-term customer relationships and navigate complexity with balance.
- Commercial sharpness - confident in sales flow, margin management, forecasting, and negotiation, with a focus on both growth and profitability.
