We are looking for a Credit Administrator to join our finance team in North Strathfield on a fixed-term contract through to end of May 2026. This is a role that blends transactional discipline with stakeholder support, perfect for someone who thrives in the detail of credit administration while contributing to the smooth running of collections and onboarding across the ANZ business units.
The role
This is a hands-on role supporting the Credit Team Leader and Credit Controllers, focused on transactional accuracy, customer support, and timely reporting. You’ll manage receipt allocations, credit card processing, new customer onboarding tasks, and Masterfile amendments, while also contributing to credit notes, rebates, aged debtor reporting, and ad hoc tasks that support the wider Credit function.
Your work will directly enable the team to maintain strong collections performance, reduce ageing debtors, and deliver best-practice outcomes across the Order to Cash cycle.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Daily allocation of receipts, credit card processing, and direct debit management
- Supporting the credit team with new customer onboarding and Masterfile amendments
- Processing rebates and customer pricing changes in line with SOPs
- Monitoring aged debtors, preparing reports, and escalating doubtful debts where appropriate
- Assisting with customer disputes, credit notes, and timely resolution of queries
- Maintaining strong communication with sales, customer service, and external customers
- Contributing to KPI reporting, process improvements, and ad hoc finance projects
What you’ll bring
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Clear communication skills- able to balance customer service with credit control
- A proactive, can-do approach with flexibility to step in and support the team where needed
- Prior experience in accounts receivable, credit administration, or a similar transactional finance role (desirable)
- Familiarity with ERP systems (MYOB EXO or similar) and proficiency with Excel and reporting tools (desirable)
