At UCC Coffee we’re partnering with some of Australia’s most iconic retail and out of home brands to lead the market in roasted coffee. From bean to cup we’re redefining coffee for some of the nation’s most renowned brands. With integrated operations spanning supply, manufacturing, service, and sales, we operate at scale in a commercially dynamic and operationally complex environment, supporting market leading brands and products across food & beverage, convenience, QSR, retail and café channels. Our commitment to quality, innovation, and continuous improvement underpins our position as a market leader in coffee solutions across UCC Australia and New Zealand.
Your focus
This is your opportunity to lead some of Australia’s most recognised coffee partnerships across convenience, QSR, and foodservice with real purpose, autonomy, and visibility. This role is one of three Senior Key Account Managers in our UCCAU business, so it’s important that this role centres around sharp commercial thinking, intuition, drive for results and accountability. Your leader will enable your success from day one - offering a decade of knowledge and experience while giving you the space to own outcomes.
Here, your decisions matter. Your impact is real. And your career trajectory? Yours to shape. Day to day, you’ll drive the strategic direction of your accounts – delivering joint business plans (customer and UCC at the core), leading commercial conversations, and identifying opportunities for growth. You’ll influence contract terms, contribute to tenders, and translate insight into action. Every decision you make will reflect both the customer and the business -balancing partnership with performance. Supported by cross-functional teams across Sales, Finance, Training, and Machinery, you’ll deliver a seamless, high-impact customer experience, leading with intent at every turn.
Your profile
You might be a Key Account Manager today, or working in a sales role within foodservice, QSR, or hospitality. You could also come from another industry where you’ve built strong commercial partnerships and delivered results. What matters most is your attitude, your ability to influence outcomes, and your drive to build partnerships that last while delivering growth at scale. And the rest…
- Proven account management experience - ideally in foodservice, QSR, or hospitality, with a track record of growing and sustaining customer relationships. (Coffee expertise is a plus, but not essential)
- Commercial sharpness - confident in sales flow, margin management, forecasting, and negotiation, with a focus on both growth and profitability.
- Standout communication skills - clear, concise, adaptable, and authentic, able to engage stakeholders at every level.
- High emotional intelligence - resilient, self-aware, and positive, with the ability to manage long-term customer relationships and navigate complexity with balance.
- A growth mindset - you may be stepping up from around the $100k level, but you’re hungry to stretch yourself, take on more accountability, and grow with the business.
Our process
We review applications as they are received. Candidates who make the longlist will complete brief screening questions and followed by a recruiter call for those shortlisted.
From there, selected candidates will be invited to a formal interview with our Group Customer Manager (in person at our Preston site) and a HR representative (online). These interviews are scheduled for 2nd and 3rd October. For preferred candidates, psychometric testing and reference checks will run in parallel. Finalists will then be invited to a second interview with our General Manager Mocopan, before a decision is made.
No agencies please.
