About the role

We are currently seeking a Part time Barista Trainer to provide quality training for our key accounts and café customers across NSW and with some interstate travel. Based in Sydney, you will be responsible for providing high quality, professional accredited barista training for key accounts, across many sites, and café customers statewide and in some cases nationally. This position is rewarded with a competitive salary package, personal and professional development opportunities, plus phone, laptop and car allowance. You will use your own car and be offered a competitive car allowance, therefore a reliable car and current full driver's license is essential. Regional and occasional interstate travel will also be required.

This is a part-time role (15.2 hours/2 days a week), Monday to Friday (days negotiable).

What will you do?

  1. Delivery and Assessment of Coffee Training Courses for key accounts as well as independent cafes
  2. Training according to our world class training specifications & customer requirements
  3. Developing and maintaining professional relationships with key accounts/cafes
  4. Providing excellent customer service
  5. Completion of Quality Assurance Checks at customer sites
  6. Use of technology such as Microsoft Office applications
  7. Continuous improvement of coffee training materials and your own barista skills
  8. Developing industry networks
  9. Regional travel on a monthly basis
  10. Basic administration tasks

You’ll need:

  2. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  3. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well as a team.
  4. Demonstrated ability to train others in a work environment
  5. Strong barista skills with a willingness to continue to learn
  6. Understanding and experience in the coffee industry (café management experience desirable)
  7. Professional presentation and confidence
  8. Excellent time management skills and ability to work autonomously
  9. Strong communication skills
