About the role:
As our Maintenance Fitter, you’ll bring a genuine passion for solving mechanical challenges in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll play a key role in keeping our equipment running efficiently, safely, and reliably. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll carry out both reactive and preventative maintenance, diagnose faults, complete repairs, manage spare parts inventory, and maintain accurate maintenance records. You’ll also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support machinery upgrades and enhancements across the site.
About you:
You take pride in getting to the root of mechanical issues, diagnosing problems with confidence, and delivering practical solutions that keep operations running smoothly.
We're in search of someone who can contribute their expertise to our maintenance team. More specifically:
- 4+ years’ experience in general mechanical maintenance
- FMCG or food manufacturing experience highly regarded
- Experience in pneumatics and hydraulics
- Excellent problem‑solving and fault‑finding skills
- Reliable team player with a safety-first mindset.
- Good communication skills.
- Welding experience (advantageous but not essential)
- Current Forklift Licence
