Your opportunity:

This role is part of a team supporting the expansion of Salesforce services across the business. You will work closely with Tech Manager, Salesforce Admin/developers, E2E architects, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality Salesforce solutions using technologies such as Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, Platform Events, latest customisation/configuration techniques/SFDX tools. The role focuses on hands-on development, configuration, and testing of TPG Salesforce apps/systems.

You'll make impact by:

  • Understanding of Salesforce platforms/licenses/features offerings across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Lightning (Good to have Comms Cloud - Industries/B2B/B2C BSS IT suites, CPQ/EPC)
  • Develop Apex classes, Visualforce pages, and Lightning Web Components (LWCs).
  • Configure/Customise Salesforce applications, flows, and workflows to support business processes.
  • Participate in code reviews and testing to ensure high-quality Salesforce solutions.
  • Experience in building Web Services enabled applications (SOAP and RESTful)
  • Develop, test, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce applications.
  • Build and maintain automated testing and deployment processes for Salesforce applications.
  • Designing and documenting technical solutions on Confluence (or similar)
  • Experience using JIRA (or similar) to plan, design, build, and familiarity with agile delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, administrators, and business analysts, to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of Salesforce applications.
  • Potential involvement in all audits and regulatory activities relating to those platforms.
  • Working with the Architecture team, to support and validate component design. This includes validation of cost estimates.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor Degree level or equivalent including 3-5 years experience of Application/Platform development in an IT/Technology environment.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a technical Salesforce role
  • Deep knowledge of the Salesforce suite of products, including many years of experience with Salesforce and other CRMs.
  • Solid background in Delivery encompassing full end to end solution delivery (Concept/Feasibility to Post Operational Support).
  • Solid background in software engineering.
  • Strong focus on Operational Stability and demonstrated skills in aiding Operational teams.

Ideally, you will also have:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to easily develop new relationships with both suppliers and colleagues.
  • Proven development experience using various software development processes (e.g. Waterfall and Agile).
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, and Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II are a plus.
