Your opportunity:

The role is responsible for AWS environment, including appropriate assessment and implementation of a wide range of AWS services and tools to support the TPG AWS Platform and the deployment pipelines for teams managing both internal and external applications. You will have exposure to best-practice Cloud technologies to build and support secure, highly available, and cost-efficient applications and services. This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract role.

You'll make impact by:

• Leading the team of engineers technically.
• Working closely with architecture and engineering teams to provide technical guidance and direction.
• Enhancing the Cloud Platform and working with the internal consumers to drive better outcomes for the business.
• Work with senior Technology stakeholders to provide guidance on how to safely consume new Cloud services and capabilities as the AI landscape grows rapidly.
• Ensure Security, Operational and Cloud policies and standards can be transparently met through automation.
• Working with internal stakeholders on how to solve technical problems using cloud native services.
• Champion technical solutions both internally in the team and externally to platform consuming teams.
• Identify and promote areas of improvement in processes and tooling
• Design and deliver services and systems for internal usage including the delivery of both infrastructure as a code and service development.

What you’ll bring:

• Excellent knowledge of AWS technologies and services.
• Well versed in architecting and designing solutions in AWS across a broad set of services and technologies.
• Working with one or more of the following language Java, Python, Ruby, Javascript, C#, C++), Python is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-As-Code tools to automate deployments in AWS, preferably CloudFormation and CDK.
• Understanding CI/CD concepts and best practices.
• Creating CI/CD pipelines in tools such as AWS Code Build, Code Deploy, Code Pipeline.
• Understand security best practices in AWS.
• Be familiar with ITSM/SRM/CMDB tools like Jira Service Management or BMC Helix.
• Worked in an agile environment.
