Role Purpose & Environment

The Technical Change Enablement Analyst review, assess potential risks, and impacts of proposed changes and provide advice on how to gain approval to proceed with changes. Be the focal point for communicating change control activities for Internal and External change requests. The key stakeholders are the Change Management and NOC teams.

Responsibilities

·        Assess the urgency of an Internal Change Request in relation to the proposed schedule, its relationship to other change requests and supporting documentation, the impact of not doing the change as per recommended requested date.

·        Assist the Change Initiator in coordinating the change with stakeholders and any 3rd party provider(s) where required.

·        Check that impact assessments have been provided by the Change Initiator and/or Additional Approvers.

·        Notify customers either via email, broad service status message or both, in accordance with contracted SLAs.

·        Ensure changes have been assessed for conflict with other changes and prioritised based on urgency. 

·        Convene Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings with appropriate attendees to authorise and schedule changes as required.

·        Administrative tasks such as mailbox management, data gathering, answering customer queries via phone and email, generating reports, and other tasks assigned by the Supervisor and or Manager.


Skills and Experience Required

·        Bachelor’s or College Degree of any course.

·        At least two (2) years’ of relevant experience.

·        Exhibited proficient verbal and written English communication abilities.

·        Result driven and goal oriented.

·        Demonstrates a positive and proactive approach to work, remaining optimistic and resilient in challenging situations.

·        Knowledge with ITIL practices.

·        Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

·        Must be able to learn and adapt quickly to changing job requirements.
