Senior Pricing Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Work with Product Management to develop and implement product price strategies including segment strategies for the various markets and channels.
• Coordinate proposal development with the sales team and management
• Validate sales quotations for accuracy and profitability.
• Prepare analysis of each pricing request and submit financials for management approval.
• Independently develop new Excel models, charts and graphs, and procedures as necessary.
• Take initiative in identifying and resolving issues around pricing and margin.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including ad-hoc analysis on methods to optimize price through market and pricing strategies.
• Provide regular and ad hoc pricing analysis, pricing models
• Point of contact – Product pricing section [once Team Lead is away]
• Handles complex – super complex | Large deals for executive reviews
• 2nd level of approvals – beyond scope of approval of pricing analysts
• Review and validate escalation documents before sending to senior/executive management
• Pricing process creation along with business rules, documentation and implementation
• Coaching/Training of pricing analysts

Qualifications:

• Must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Accountancy, or any Business-related course
• 3-5 years' experience as a Pricing Analyst or any similar role for B2B
• Experience in telco for a similar role is not necessary but will be an edge
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Intermediate to advance excel skills
• Highly analytical with exposure to profit and loss/margin & market analysis
