About the Position:
About Smiles Circular Quay is looking for an experienced Practice Manager to join our cosmetic-focused practice on a full-time, fixed-term 12-month contract, Monday to Friday.
As Practice Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day running of the clinic, ensuring smooth operations, strong team performance, and an exceptional patient experience from start to finish. You’ll play a key role in supporting the team, streamlining workflows, and maintaining a high standard of service across all areas of the practice.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the clinic, including reception duties, scheduling, ordering and general operations to keep things running smoothly.
- Support the team and help create a positive, easy-going workplace where everyone works well together.
- Greet patients warmly, manage check-in/check-out, and coordinate appointment scheduling to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and patient enquiries, providing clear information about treatments and resolving concerns in a professional manner.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in line with compliance requirements and clinic protocols.
- Ensure the reception area is well-presented, organised, and fully stocked to support smooth daily operations.

What do you need to succeed:
- Prior experience in a dental Practice Manager, senior reception, or treatment coordination role is essential
- Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently support both patients and team members
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and keep the clinic running smoothly
- A calm, professional approach when handling patient concerns, with a focus on positive outcomes
- Confidence working across both reception and clinical support duties in a busy environment
