Dental Assistant / Receptionist

About the position:

QV Dental located in the heart of Melbourne CBD is currently looking for an experience Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join the team on a Full Time basis 5 days per week. This role will be focused more towards reception and patient care with the occasional need to assist the Dentist.

Come and join our supportive and dynamic team in our modern 4 chair general Dentistry practice. Our Dentists and team are patient focused to ensure the highest quality treatments and patient centered care are provided every time.

At its core, this role is about:

• Delivering exceptional care - patients always come first, especially when we are working with children
• Proactively helping keep us running - working closely with practitioners and the wider practice team to make sure things are running smoothly
• Maintaining high standards of infection control and sterilisation;
• Patient management; answering phone enquiries, booking & confirming appointments and taking payments

What do you need to succeed? 

• Experience as a DA - you may have Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting, but most importantly be capable of working closely with a team and a willingness to continue to learn
• A bright, engaging personality, with enthusiasm and commitment
• A team player. You will help us deliver the best patient care whilst working with our talented dentists delivering quality dental solutions and fantastic value
• Experience with Oasis is desirable but not required
