About Us:

The story of Toby's Estate started in 1997, born from the grungy streets of Woolloomooloo. Armed with a beat-up coffee roaster, we embarked on a wild adventure of business and coffee discovery. Fast forward 26 years, and we've become an energetic team united by a passion for amazing things and pushing the limits of premium specialty coffee. Our commitment to consistently roasting the tastiest coffee and treating everyone like family remains at the core of our journey.

Flagship Café Manager (Full Time):

Lead the charge in creating a memorable experience for our customers and establish Toby's Estate Newstead as a local hotspot in Brisbane.

Assistant Flagship Manager (Full Time):

Support the Flagship Café Manager in operational excellence and contribute to the overall success of our café.

Cook (Full Time):

Bring your culinary skills to the forefront, creating delicious offerings that complement our exceptional coffee.

Kitchen Hand (Casual):

Support our cook in bringing our delicious food offerings to life!

Head Barista (Full Time):

Take the lead in crafting premium coffee experiences, setting the standard for excellence in every cup.

Baristas (Full Time):

Join our team of passionate baristas, dedicated to consistently delivering the finest coffee to our customers.

Front of House (flexible employment types):

Be the welcoming face of Toby's Estate, providing outstanding customer service and contributing to the vibrant atmosphere.

The details:

• The aim is to have our doors open late April. Our café will be open 7 days a week, between the hours of 6.30am - 3pm.
• When applying, please specify the role and hours you are interested in next to your name on your CV or in your cover letter.
• Hourly rates will vary based on the role, and our recruiter will provide you with details during the recruitment process.
• Our screening process includes initial questions via LiveHire and a subsequent in-person interview in Newstead for shortlisted candidates with our State Sales Manager.
• For baristas and front of house roles, we offer flexibility in scheduling, but equally keen for set hours and days where possible.
• Training and onboarding is provided for all roles. The Flagship Café Manager and Head Barista will spend time in Sydney with our coffee team. For the other roles your recruiter will advise you of what onboarding looks like.
