We’re looking for a commercially savvy analyst to support our fast-paced, specialty coffee business. Based in Auckland and working closely with our Commercial Manager, this role will sit at the intersection of Finance, Sales, Marketing and Franchise (keeping in mind Ops) - helping us make sharper, faster, and more strategic decisions across the board.

You’ll work on everything from innovation and pricing through to cost optimisation, performance reporting, and S&OP planning. Your focus:
- Be the go-to for commercial modelling, pricing, margin, and customer profitability analysis.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Franchise to evaluate new business, tenders, and innovation opportunities.
- Lead key elements of the demand planning cycle - helping us balance customer demand with production reality.
- Own monthly performance reporting, with a lens on cost accounting, accruals, and inventory analysis.
- Support the delivery of our annual budget and rolling forecast cycles.
- Embed tools, dashboards, and reporting in Power BI that make performance clear and actionable.
- Contribute to a high-performance team that values initiative, rigour, and collaboration - and drinks a lot of great coffee while doing it.
About you:
You’re naturally curious and commercially driven. You love digging into the numbers, but even more than that- you thrive in what the numbers unlock. You know how to tell a clear story with data, bring people on the journey, and challenge assumptions constructively.
- 2+ years in a commercial, business, or financial analyst role (FMCG or manufacturing experience is a plus).
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capability - with intermediate excel skills and an eagerness to learn PowerBI.
- Competence in cost accounting, margin analysis, and performance reporting.
- Experience (or strong interest) in demand planning, sales forecasting, and operational finance.
- Confident engaging with stakeholders across all levels - from the shop floor to senior leadership.
- Exposure to ERP systems (E1 / JDE or similar) is desirable.
