About the Role:

As an OSHC Mentor Coordinator, you’ll lead your own service, providing trusted before and after school care and holiday programs that support local families. You’ll:

  • Have the opportunity to lead and enhance embedded practice across services within the Warrnambool region!
  • Have the opportunity to step up into the area manager role and enhance your leadership skills! 
  • Create engaging programs with industry leading programming tools!
  • Mentor a team of educators to develop their skills and grow within the industry.
  • Coach and mentor your teams with a focus on improvement and the cascading of knowledge
  • Rostering for services within the local area, with support from your Area Manager.
  • Manage compliance documents and other administrative tasks.

Hours: Current service hours, plus weekly admin hours!

Monday to Friday only — no weekend work!

About You

You have excellent communication skills and are passionate about making a difference in children’s lives and thrive on building strong, positive relationships. Previous experience in the childcare/OSHC industry is essential.

You will have:

Completed or currently studying an ACECQA-recognised qualification (Teaching, Childcare, Community Services, or similar). Check www.acecqa.gov.au for details relevant to your state.

A valid Employee Working with Children Check.

Willingness to obtain HLTAID012 First Aid in a Childcare Setting, Relevant food safety & mandatory reporting certificates and a National Criminal History Check dated within 6 months.
