We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Coordinator at Pheonix Primary School to lead the OSHC program in a specialist school setting.

About the Role

As an OSHC Coordinator, you’ll lead your own service, providing trusted before and after school care and holiday programs that support local families. You’ll:

  • · Design and deliver engaging programs for children 5 - 12 years of age.
  • · Build positive relationships as the face of TheirCare in your school community.
  • · Mentor and support your team to develop their skills and growth within the industry.
  • · Oversee compliance and administrative tasks, to keep your service running smoothly.
  • · Liaise with families, school teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure individualised care, including present and future needs
  • · Be the face of TheirCare in your school community, creating lasting relationships along the way

Monday to Friday only — no weekend work!

  • Permanent Full-Time opportunity - 38 hours per week – Monday to Friday.

About You

You are passionate about making a difference in children’s lives and thrive on building strong, positive relationships. While experience in childcare or OSHC is preferred, it’s not essential.

The ideal candidate for the Coordinator role will have the following:

• At least of 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role.

• You are an engaging individual who is passionate about making a difference in children's lives.

• Experience leading teams in disability, education, or community services

• Confidence in behavioural management for children with high and complex needs

• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills

• Exhibit our TheirCare values: Caring, Open and Engaged

You will have:

Completed or currently studying an ACECQA-recognised qualification (Teaching, Childcare, Community Services, or similar). Check www.acecqa.gov.au for details relevant to your state.

A valid Employee Working with Children Check for your state.

Willingness to obtain HLTAID012 First Aid in a Childcare Setting, Relevant food safety & mandatory reporting certificates and a National Criminal History Check dated within 6 months.
