Shape How Our Teams Learn and Grow!

About the Role

We’re seeking a creative and detail-oriented Learning & Development Content Developer to design and deliver engaging, high-quality learning experiences that build capability across our OSHC teams.

In this impactful role, you’ll play a key part in shaping how our people learn. You’ll develop practical, accessible and compliant learning content that supports educators, service leaders and operational teams to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes for children.

Working closely with the Learning & Development Manager and internal stakeholders, you’ll design and maintain content across a range of formats, including eLearning modules, resources and learning pathways within our Learning Management System (LMS). Your work will ensure our teams are equipped with the knowledge, confidence, and tools to succeed in their roles.

This is a full-time role based at our Glen Iris HQ, with hybrid work arrangements available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality learning content across multiple formats, including eLearning modules, guides, and resources.
  • Build, upload and maintain engaging and user-friendly content within the LMS.
  • Structure and organise learning pathways to ensure an intuitive and accessible user experience.
  • Translate operational and compliance requirements into practical, engaging learning experiences.
  • Ensure all content aligns with the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place and organisational policies.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and internal teams to co-design targeted learning solutions.
  • Monitor learner engagement and feedback to continuously improve content quality and effectiveness.
  • Maintain compliance, accuracy, and version control of all learning materials.
  • Act as the key point of contact for the Learning Management System (LMS), supporting users and maintaining system effectiveness

About You

  • Experience in instructional design, learning development, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and how to apply them in practice.
  • Experience building and managing content within a Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Ability to create engaging, interactive, and practical learning experiences across multiple formats.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Collaborative and confident working with stakeholders across different teams.
  • Creative, organised, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Experience in OSHC, education, or children’s services is desirable but not essential.

Why work for us?

  • Hybrid working arrangements, with flexibility to work from home part of the week.
  • Genuine opportunities for professional development across learning design, systems, and strategy.
  • A supportive, values-driven culture where you’re part of a caring, open, and engaged team.
  • The opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the learning and capability of teams supporting children and young people.
