We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at the Club Hotel and Commercial Hotel Chinchilla.

The Role

As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen operations across both Hotels, whilst motivating our kitchen team to deliver a high-quality food and dining experience. The following skills, behaviours, and qualifications are essential:

  • Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or higher
  • Kitchen management experience in a high-volume food, bar, and function environment - minimum 3 years full-time
  • Strong leadership, training, and motivational skills
  • High standard of personal presentation & hygiene
  • Experience in stock control and ordering, with budgeting in mind
  • Available to work hospitality hours
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage conflict, remain calm under pressure, and work unsupervised
