Our Customer division is essential for engaging with our audience to deliver service line stories. This includes content creation, campaign strategy, market research and insights, digital projects, creative designs, social media presence, and supporting sales through lead generation and customer service.

About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager Business Development the Sponsorships & Social Funding Manager is responsible for end to end delivery of the Y Victoria's fundraising strategy and operational execution. Overseeing the Y Victoria's fundraising governance and compliance regime you will be required to lead decision making in regards to what funds to apply for, and ensures applications are well managed, meet requirements and result in approval from funding bodies. Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the annual refresh of the strategy to ensure it remains current / responds to change s in the Y’s operating environment
  • Identify and research potential new sponsors and partners in line with the Fundraising Strategy
  • Coordinate and / or conduct projects to secure new sponsors and partners
  • Develop and implement philanthropic-giving programmes and campaigns in line with the Fundraising Strategy.
  • Project manage smaller programs ensuring they meet their agreed targets

This is a permanent full time role. Hybrid working model, working from home and from the Box Hill Office one to two days a week. The remuneration for this role is $114,986 (inclusive of super).

About You

With strong commercial awareness you will have a background in managing major sponsorship programs (both corporate and government) . With excellent sales presentation skills you will have the confidence to present in front of a variety of stakeholders. Other requirements include:

  • Strong planning & project management skills
  • Very good stakeholder and relationship management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Good time management skills, able prioritise and meet multiple deadlines
