With more than 5,000 staff at over 140 centers across Victoria, South Australia, ACT and NSW we pioneer best practice as a leader in multiple industries - Recreation, Aquatics, Camping, Early Learning, OSHC and Youth Services. About the opportunity
We’re embarking on an exciting journey to modernise our HR capability with the implementation of a new Human Resources Information System (HRIS). To help bring this transformation to life, we’re looking for a Business & Change Analyst who can blend analytical thinking with people‑centred change expertise. This role sits at the heart of our project team, shaping how the organisation works, learns, and adapts as we transition to a new digital HR environment.
About the Role
As our Business & Change Analyst, you’ll work closely with HR, IT, and leaders across the organisation to understand how we operate today and design how we’ll operate tomorrow. You’ll translate business needs into practical system requirements, guide stakeholders through change, and ensure the new HRIS is not only implemented successfully but embraced by the people who use it.
This is a role for someone who enjoys variety — one day you’ll be deep in process mapping, the next you’ll be running a workshop, preparing training materials, or supporting users through go‑live. If you thrive in a space where technology meets people, you’ll feel right at home.
Change Management
Shape the change journey from start to finish. This includes assessing the impact of the new system on different teams, identifying key stakeholders, and building a network of change champions. You’ll craft clear communication, develop training materials, and deliver sessions that prepare users for the transition.
Business Analysis
Take the lead in understanding our current HR processes and identifying opportunities to improve them. Through workshops, interviews, and analysis, you’ll gather and document requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and work closely with technical teams and vendors to ensure the HRIS is configured to meet our needs.
Project & Implementation Support
Work closely with the Project Manager to track progress, manage risks, and keep stakeholders informed. You’ll contribute to data migration planning, support users during go‑live, and help resolve issues as they arise. After implementation, you’ll continue to support optimisation and enhancements to ensure the system delivers long‑term value.
This is a twelve-month maximum term role, full time with a work arrangement across a hybrid model between our Box Hill office and home (WFH). Rem package $126,000 plus super.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have a strong understanding of HR processes such as payroll, talent management, benefits, and employee data. Experience as a Business Analyst and/or Change Analyst on technology implementation projects is essential (ideally involving an HRIS). Other requirements include:
- Familiarity with project methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2) and change frameworks (e.g., ADKAR).
- Experience with platforms like Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or HiBob is a bonus.
