Our Customer Engagement division is essential for growing the business and includes business development, social impact, customer service, digital services and marketing and communications.

About the Opportunity 

Reporting to the Executive Manager, Marketing and Communications; and working closely with the Business Development team, you will be responsible for building The Y Victoria’s corporate brand reputation. In this role your key audiences will be key decision makers in the local government, schools and community sectors. Responsibilities include:

  • B2G and B2B reputation management across multiple channels including owned media; paid media; industry events and publications.
  • Participation in workshops and working groups contributing to the strategic planning and development of tenders; including the development of all content related to positioning and marketing
  • Provide regular plans and reports to key sector leadership and stakeholders
  • Managing and working with our internal marketing, digital and communications teams as well as specialist agencies to deliver corporate brand plans

This is a full time position where you’ll have a hybrid working model, between working from home, our State Office in Box Hill. The remuneration for this role is $128,300 plus super 

About You

Our ideal candidate is self-motivated with an ability to think strategically and execute operationally. Additionally, you will have:

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to successfully influence and negotiate
  • Previous experience in a similar role managing corporate brand reputation ideally in a similar sector
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic marketing and campaign planning, with an understanding of B2B channel planning and execution
  • Project management experience including managing budgets, prioritising tasks and time management
  • Previous experience within local government, NFP or NGO sector would be highly advantageous 
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business or Project Management (or a degree or post-graduate qualification that demonstrates similar skills) desirable.
