YMCA Victoria is seeking a Social Impact & Evaluation Coordinator to help bring our social impact strategy to life.

About the Role

Reporting to the Executive Manage. Social Impact the Social Impact & Evaluation Coordinator will play a key role in the ongoing implementation of our Social Impact Measurement (SIM) strategy and supporting the development of our Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) frameworks across business units including Children & Youth programs, Camping, Recreation and Kingswim.

You’ll work closely with managers and teams to build capacity, support data systems, and ensure our impact is visible, measurable and meaningful.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain MEL plans and frameworks across key service areas.
  • Support data collection, cleaning, organisation and analysis for impact reporting.
  • Build evaluation capacity across the organisation through training and support.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including universities, local government and industry bodies.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and quarterly reviews to track progress against outcomes.
  • Assist in producing business unit and organisational impact reports.

The FTE annual salary package of this role is $86,000 plus super (pro-rated across three days). There will be some expectation of travel to sites around Victoria to support data collection and analytics in our programs and services.

About You

You’re a collaborative, detail-oriented professional with:

  • Experience in MEL and evaluation in the not-for-profit or social sector.
  • Strong data analytics and dashboard management skills.
  • Knowledge of program logic, theory of change and impact measurement methodologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and coordination skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding children and young people.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in public health, education, social sciences or related fields.
  • Postgraduate qualification in evaluation or equivalent experience (highly desirable).
  • WWCC, Police Check, and a current Victorian Driver Licence.
