One of Surry Hills’ most loved and historic venues is undergoing an incredible transformation, unveiling a new-look Harry’s in early March 2026. Think new menus, new offerings, fresh energy — all while keeping the same great vibe we know and love…but with a little something extra.
We’re on the hunt for an exceptional General Manager to lead Harry’s into this exciting next chapter.
About the Role
This is a rare opportunity to take the reins of a multi-faceted, high-profile hospitality venue at a pivotal moment in its journey.
As General Manager, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end performance of the venue — leading from the front, building a strong culture, and ensuring every guest experience is memorable, warm and unmistakably Harry’s.
You’ll play a key role in the re-launch and ongoing evolution of the venue, working closely with senior leadership team to bring the vision to life.
About You
You’re a seasoned hospitality leader who thrives in dynamic environments and loves creating places people want to return to — both guests and staff.
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience as a General Manager (ideally with at least 3+ years in similar role)
- Multi-faceted venue management experience (pub, bars, restaurants, gaming, accommodation or large format venue)
- Strong financial acumen with a proven track record of driving commercial performance
- Exceptional people leadership skills — you build, develop and inspire high-performing teams
- A genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience
- Experience launching or re-launching a venue (highly regarded)
- Energy, drive and motivation to continually raise the bar
