We are seeking those with a passion for caring for the elderly who want to start their career with a caring, supportive, and progressive company. Our client, a well-established Aged Care and Healthcare organisation, is seeking new team members to join their Home Care team.

No experience or qualification is required. Be prepared to complete a Certificate III in Individual Support, as a trainee (study and gain experience on-the-job).

We are expanding this team to deal with the increase in new residents.

What we are seeking:

  • Have a great attitude
  • Be reliable
  • Willingness to learn and work
  • Ability to pass/present a clear National Police Check, or willing to obtain one
  • Working Rights in Australia (to complete the traineeship, must be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident)
  • Have regular availability (minimum 4 days a week)
  • Good communication skills
  • Want to work and care for the elderly?
  • Must be located within 10 kms of Caulfield.

Shifts

Shifts are available Monday to Friday, between 7:00 am - 7:00 pm.

School-friendly hours available.

Services - Unskilled (not qualified)

  • Bed making, room tidying up
  • Domestic Assistance
  • Laundry, dusting, vacuuming, surface cleaning
  • Bathroom cleaning/tidy up.
  • Ability to listen, build a rapport, and work with a range of clients and other staff
  • Complete documentation
  • Follow policies and procedures
  • Complete your accredited and mandatory training as part of your role.
