We are seeking a support staff member in the Midland/Stratton area to work exclusively with one client in the community. Our client has Huntington's disease. We want to build a stable and caring team around the client to support all aspects of daily living.
Shifts available Monday to Sunday, 8:00am to 2:30pm, 1:00pm to 3:00pm (cleaning only), & 6:00pm to 9:00pm.
You will support the client in the home, in the community, and with ongoing support. We are aiming to minimise any support that is being offered by family members, to be completed by the new support team.
Work is available as a minimum of one shift a week to 35+ hours a week. We will build the roster and team to meet your needs. We pay under the SCHADS Award, with an hourly rate negotiable on experience. You will be trained and supported in the role with the client.
Our leading home care provider is seeking new Support Workers to care for a female client, who is suffering from Huntington's disease and requires care on weekdays and weekends. We are wanting to build a specific team to deliver this ongoing care and work in a larger team to support the client.

About The Role:
We are seeking Support Workers to work in the greater Midland/Stratton area.
Our support workers make a difference in the community by facilitating positive health and well-being options for individuals, their families, and carers.
As a Support Worker, your role will be to assist a diverse range of clients with activities of daily living and provide support services such as Domestic Assistance, Respite, and Personal Care at their homes. This is a community-based position - must hold a WA driver's licence and have a reliable car.
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Individual Support / HACC / Aged Care / Disability or equivalent
- MUST have a current WA driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
- MUST have a clear National Police Check, within the last 12-months (or willingness to obtain one)
- MUST have an NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain one)
- MUST be fully COVID-19 vaccinated (3-doses)
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Smart mobile phone
- Computer literacy and the ability to access emails
- Live within the local area or a 20-minute drive.
