Experienced & qualified Home Care Workers (Aged & Disability) - Wallen area

Are you an Aged Care or Disability-qualified worker seeking employment in the local Wallen area for a male NDIS client?

We have a client who requires care each Wednesday for 2 hours, Thursday, and Friday. Hours may increase depending on the client's wife's appointments and activities.

Support would involve daily activities, supporting the client in the shed, tinkering with equipment, going for drives, helping him get out in the community, and home care (domestic assistance).

Client requires someone with patience, great communication skills, and reliability. Building a relationship with this client, allowing them to feel comfortable, is essential.

We are seeking Home Care Workers to care for our client in the Wallen area.

Hourly rate starting from $35+ per hour (casual), and increasing with experience and qualification.

At present, the client is seeking 2-hours of support on a Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, with hours or days to extend depending on the client's requirements.

The client enjoys spending time in his shed, tinkering with machinery and using equipment, going for longer drives, community access/engagement and daily activities

Services Required to Provide:

 Requirements: 

• Certificate III in Individual Support / HACC / Aged Care / Disability or equivalent
• MUST have a current Victorian driver's licence and a reliable vehicle.
• MUST have a clear National Police Check, within the last 2 years.
• MUST have an NDIS Workers Check
• Consistent availability (same days/times every week or fortnight)
• Have a current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
• Smart mobile phone
• Computer literacy and the ability to access emails
• Live within the local area or a 20-minute drive.
• We are only seeking candidates who reside within a 20-minute drive of the area.
