  • Are you looking for a regular role with regular aged clients, who are living in the community?
  • looking to start your caring career? This role is for you:
  • Full on-the-job training provided
  • Regular clients and hours
  • Permanent part-time roles
  • Flexible days/hours, as long as your availability is between 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday
  • If you don't have experience, we can offer you on-the-job training
  • Minimum 15 hours a week, and work up to 30+ hours a week
  • Excellent incentives and working conditions
  • The hourly rate starts from $24.00+ per hour (part-time)

Our client, a well-established home and community care organisation is seeking new team members to join their local team in the local region.

No experience is required, to begin with, you offer you on-the-job training, and if you wish to, you can progress into a traineeship in Certificate III in Individual Support.

We are expanding this team, to deal with the increase in new clients requiring services, with the expansion of community services.

Whilst you start your career as a Community Support Worker, you can complete socialisation and domestic tasks, and as you progress you will receive training in additional services, such as personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting), respite, catheter care, and much more!

What we are seeking:

  • Have a great attitude
  • Be reliable
  • Willingness to learn and work
  • Ability to pass a National Police Check (we will get this for you)
  • Have a current ACT driver's licence
  • Have a reliable, registered vehicle, with full comprehensive insurance; and
  • Have regular availability

Shifts are available Monday to Friday, between 8:00am to 4:00pm.

You will be visiting (clients - disability clients) in their homes and supporting them with services, which may include:

  • Domestic Assistance
  • Shopping
  • Meal Preparation
  • Transportation
  • To & from Medical Appointments
  • Personal Care
  • Grooming
  • Social Activities
  • Respite
  • We are seeking people living within the local area
  • Willingness to learn
