Experienced & qualified Home Care Workers (Aged & Disability) - Nar Nar Goon region

Are you an Aged Care or Disability-qualified worker seeking employment in the local Nar Nar Goon area for a female client? Who requires support with personal care, bowel assistance, and has a catheter.

The client has a ceiling hoist and has been a quadriplegic since early teens.

Shifts we need to be covered:

• Thursdays (weekly) from 7:00am to 3:00pm
• Fridays (weekly) from 7:00am to 3:00pm
• Fridays (weekly) from 4:00pm to 9:00pm
• Saturdays (fortnightly) from 7:00am to 3:00pm
• Saturdays (weekly) from 4:00pm to 9:00pm

Client requires someone with patience, great communication skills, and reliability. Building a relationship with this client and allowing them to feel comfortable is essential.

We are seeking Home Care Workers to care for our client in the Nar Nar Goon area.

Hourly rate starting at $35+ per hour (casual), increasing with experience and qualifications.

• Domestic Assistance

• Transportation
• Respite Care

 Requirements: 

• Certificate III in Individual Support / HACC / Aged Care / Disability or equivalent
• MUST have a current Victorian driver's licence and a reliable vehicle.
• MUST have a clear National Police Check, within the last 2 years.
• MUST have an NDIS Workers Check
• Consistent availability (same days/times every week or fortnight)
• Have a current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
• Smart mobile phone
• Computer literacy and the ability to access emails
• We are only seeking candidates who reside within a 20-minute drive of the area.
• Clear English speaking
• Not scared of animals – 4 cats and 2 dogs (a Groodle and an American staffie)
• Experience in bowel care or willing to be trained and complete bowel care
• Experience in catheter management or willing to be trained
