The Aged & Disability Division of Telstra Health is committed to providing high quality software solutions to the Aged & Disability care market. Our products include clinical, medication management and administration systems for the residential aged care setting, and home/disability care systems and mobile apps for the community care sector. 

The Role

The Implementation Consultant role will see you delivering Professional Services for Aged & Disability (A&D) Residential products to new and existing clients by:

  • Project management of the end-to-end delivery of our solutions
  • Conducting business analysis workshops and authoring the resulting documentation
  • There may also be a requirement for the Implementation Consultant to work with the Residential Business Development team to assist with responses to requests or information and attend/perform Sales demonstrations as required. 
  • Made up of 85% Implementation work and 15% training

Key Accountabilities

  • Project Management experience
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills with the ability to collect and analyse complex material to present in a coherent format.
  • Willing to travel domestically within Australia when required.
  • Self-starter with analytical thinking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Time management and scheduling. 
  • Be agile
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Products.
  • Must be a team player

Desirables

  • Strong understanding of business fundamentals, Aged Care Industry and government funding requirements.
  • Ability to facilitate workshops across an organisation, manage multiple stakeholders and agendas.
  • PMP and PRINCE2 certified project manager.
  • Software vendor background.
  • Experience in Aged Care and/or disability sector.

The core purpose of the Implementation Consultant is to take the lead of projects, provide software application consultancy, primarily to new and existing clients during an implementation project.

Core tasks include analysis of customer operational processes, project management, configuring the application to suit customer needs and application training, delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner. 

Consultancy services include both tasks performed onsite with the client and offsite at the office. Alongside this there is project documentation to write and convey to customers.
