What’s the opportunity?          

As a Product Manager in Telstra Health, you play an influential leadership role in the agile structure, setting the future vision, strategy and direction of the data and insights products and services within Telstra Health’s broader product portfolio. You maximise the value the product or service delivers to customers and the business and inspire and empower the delivery teams to achieve ambitious but realistic objectives.

You will be an excellent communicator, are able to think strategically and have a customer-centric mindset, to act as the bridge between the business, technology, and customers to deliver market-leading products.

About the role:

  • Using deep domain expertise, develop and communicate the vision and strategy for a set of products/services aligned with Telstra Health's goals and market needs across both the current product set and future strategic platform
  • In collaboration with Head of Product - Data and Insights, monitor and analyse competitor products, strategies, and market trends to inform product strategy decisions, identify competitive threats and opportunities, and drive innovation and differentiation.
  • Leveraging insights from market analysis, and with input from the Sales, Marketing and Communications, Customer Success, and Corporate Strategy teams, create and maintain a strategic product roadmap for a set of products / services with stakeholder alignment
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across the various functional areas at Telstra Health (e.g. Clinical, Technology, Sales & Marketing)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches and major product / feature updates, ensuring effective positioning, messaging, and market penetration
  • Planning: contribute to annual planning at the functional and organisation-wide level to inform Telstra Health company objectives. Leverage planning expertise to translate strategic OKR’s into Epics, resource requests and dependencies for each quarter
  • Customer Feedback and Continuous Improvement: Collect and analyse customer feedback to inform product improvements and monitor performance metrics
  • Encourage innovation and problem solving by coaching the mission team to assess problems from various perspectives using human centred design methodologies

About you:

  • Relevant Bachelors/Undergraduate degree
  • Demonstrable experience (5+ years) in leading cross-functional teams to ideate, design, and launch innovative products that captivate customers and create market disruption
  • Demonstrable experience in health analytics, taking raw data and developing meaningful insights to improve health outcomes
  • Demonstrable experience in working through others.
  • Strong proficiency in utilising analytics and customer insights to inform strategic decisions, optimise product performance, and maximise feature value
  • Proven ability to stay ahead of industry trends and competitive movements, identifying growth opportunities and positioning the product as a market leader
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to convey complex ideas clearly to diverse stakeholders
  • Proven ability to identify issues, analyse root causes, and implement effective solutions to drive product success
  • Two years’ + experience working with tier one organisations and/or Government
