About The Role
The Senior QA Analyst will be instrumental in delivering the Telstra Health mission to design, develop, support and maintain software systems. You'll implement best practice methods and design and ensure that developed software meets the business aims of the company and its customers.
The Senior QA Analyst will also be required to analyse requirements and develop documents which specify test solutions to these requirements and liaise with key stakeholders across Telstra Health.
Key Accountabilities
- Participate in the software development lifecycle end to end, from concept to release, deployment and support.
- Set-up and execute system, integration, and regression testing.
- Review functional specifications/user stories to determine test requirements for new features/enhancements.
- Capture test requirements from formal/informal discussions with business team/stakeholders and able to convert them into test/user stories and able to verify that application functionality implemented reflect the same.
- Cross Browser Testing and executing test cases against various browsers
- Functional, non-functional system and application testing of applications. Investigate test result discrepancies and verify the defect fixes.
- Summarise and report the defects discovered during the execution of test cases / scripts, scenarios.
- Develop and maintain test cases or test scenarios for system, functional, integration, regression and performance testing.
- Evaluate, establish and monitor the efficiency and quality standards of the application development lifecycle.
- Streamlining progression and regression testing approaches and strategies.
- Suggest process and quality enhancements and help drive product and test requirements for improved diagnostics, and work with development team on analysis of code hotspots, test coverage, and defect discovery and resolution.
- Working with a combination of SaaS based products and internal service architecture.
- Software engineering process of configuration, test, build, deploy management and continuous integration.
- Writing technical documentation.
- API testing using TOSCA and Postman
About you
- Highly experienced in manual test case preparation, execution and reporting as well as planning and support for user acceptance testing.
- Experience in Test Automation tools such as TOSCA is highly desired.
- Experience in Salesforce, Genesys and contact centre environments will be an advantage.
- Expert in testing Web services, API’s and Portals using Postman.
- Familiar with agile ways of working and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence to support the team’s day to day operations.
- Able to perform initial analysis and debugging.
- Strong trouble shooting skills.
- Able to work on multiple lines of work concurrently.
- Good knowledge of common web and application architectures and development methodologies including Agile.
- Familiar with MS SQL
Qualifications
- A relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years in a Test Analyst and/or senior Test analyst role.
