What’s the opportunity?
You will be an experienced Product Management leader who has demonstrated success in leading product teams in delivering healthcare solutions. You’ll bring your commercial acumen and strong understanding of product management methodology to lead your teams to success while executing the product strategy. You’ll inspire your teams and stakeholders by communicating the vision and direction of your solutions, optimising their profitability, and drive revenue growth globally. By collaborating with Design, Engineering, Clinical Safety and Support, you’ll ensure your teams are delivering innovative, fit for purpose and high quality solutions to our customers here and overseas.
Key requirements of the role include:
- Aligning product strategy within the overarching Hospital Care and Telstra Health strategy
- Prioritise features into the product roadmap based on market and customer needs.
- Collaborate with product owners and customers on release and sprint plans.
- Ensure compliance with Telstra Health's capital planning and management requirements, consulting with relevant subject matter experts.
- Manage allocated funding for the portfolio and maintain accurate forecasts.
- Identify market needs and translate them into strategic opportunities.
- Develop Go to Market plans and promote products.
- Support sales team as a product subject matter expert.
- Ensure clear and user-friendly product literature.
- Work with the Product Owner(s), Business Analyst(s) and Technical Writers to align product delivery with strategy, vision and financial goals.
- Conduct internal webinars and external presentations.
- Provide training and support to implementation teams.
- Stay updated on product management best practices.
- Lead a high performing product team within your portfolio, ensuring consistent achievement of required goals for the Hospital Care team.
Experience & Qualifications
- 10 years’ experience in Product Management in a software development environment, preferably B2B solutions.
- Proven skills in building a long-term product vision, strategy, and prioritised roadmap.
- Ability to create, measure and report on product success using relevant metrics.
- Commercial understanding of the financial impacts of product delivery, including project financials and capital management.
- Previous experience with software implementations and/or project management.
- Experience in an Agile software development environment.
- Strong collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders and leadership of cross-functional teams.
- Highly desirable – pre-sales support experience, exposure to technology in an acute care environment and familiarity with the Hospital Platform technology landscape.
