You will have a genuine passion for growing brands and a desire to strengthen the branding, communications, and wider marketing strategies of well-known organisations as well as establish up-and-coming companies.
You will have demonstrated experience in brand and communications planning, can converge data and marketing principles with imagination and flair, to create compelling and culturally relevant brands.
Ultimately, you will become a key strategic voice in the agency and become a thought-leader that helps grow the impact we have on our clients’ businesses.
THE TASK AT HAND
The Mid level Strategist is responsible for:
- Partner with the Head of Strategy to develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies across all channels.
- Conduct deep dives into client businesses, target audiences, and competitive landscapes to extract actionable insights.
- Translate complex client requirements into clear, concise, and inspiring creative briefs.
- Collaborate with creative teams to translate strategy into breakthrough creative concepts.
- Able to take on both own portfolio of own clients and support Co-Head of Strategy in designing, implementing and measuring strategies to develop a client’s business and their brands
- Manage and present strategic recommendations to clients, ensuring clear communication and buy-in.
- Stay ahead of the latest industry trends and ensure strategies are informed by data and consumer insights.
- Champion a culture of creativity and collaboration within the team.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their strategic thinking and client management skills.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO TBWA
Skills
- Brand literate with 3 years of experience in creative agency
- You are culturally curious with an informed worldview and passion for uncovering what influences consumer’s behaviours and values
- Passion for world-class creative work, and experience in helping to develop it.
- Fluency in both qualitative and quantitative research principles and the ability to run research groups autonomously
- You are adept at communications planning and up to date with social and digital changes that impact how clients build engaging brands
- You can design, implement and measure your strategies against a measurement framework and client objectives
- Solid communication skills when presenting findings to colleagues, management, other departments, and clients
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong grammar and writing skills
