A Business Manager IS vital in leading the day-to-day project delivery and supporting the team to enable the broader agency vision. 

THE TASK AT HAND 

The Business Manager is responsible for: 

  • The project/campaign delivery, particularly through the production process – They're accountable for making it happen 
  • Managing the day-to-day project team (creative, strategy, production) liaison 
  • Owning timelines and budgets (with input from Resource + Production) 
  • Cost control on projects (including raising job numbers, estimates, invoicing and reporting on project utilisation / profitability) 
  • Arranging project team meetings; putting meetings into diary 
  • Working with resource management and Head of Production to schedule resources across the Collective 
  • Ensuring we deliver projects on time and on budget 
  • Running tasks briefs and post implementation reviews 
  • Voicing a point of view on how we could do things better as an agency collective or in making the work better 

 Your scope will include but not limited to the following: 

  • People 
  • Conducting/supporting annual 360 reviews for direct reports and regular KPI assessments 
  • Being able to receive and deliver timely feedback and an ‘always on’ feedback loop approach for continuous development and to breed a learning culture 
  • Product 
  • Help seek, mould and sell 'ideas that make us uncomfortable’  
  • Diversify our client’s business by understanding the wider TBWA group offering (Eleven, Fleishman Hillard, Fabric etc) and being able to confidently talk about it 
  • Commercial (where applicable) 
  • Being accountable for project profitability (accurate time logged across the team, manage revisions etc) and ensuring that projects are documented and invoiced in a timely manner 
  • Leadership  
  • Day to day client management 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO TBWA 

 Skills 

  • 2+ years agency experience 
  • Strong organisation and interpersonal skills and high attention to detail 
  • Strong integrated marketing experience- ideally all channels 
  • Ability to work and manage multiple smaller projects autonomously from brief to completion  
  • Ability to deliver high standards of client satisfaction, measured through feedback 

Knowledge 

  • Ability to understand and interpret a client’s business and it’s competitors  
  • Integrated, or a digital native with a clear understanding of marcomms across different brands 
  • Strong experience managing budgets/financial processes 
  • Experience creating master timing plans, cost estimates and controlling production process’ financially to improve cost efficiencies and profitability
