OVERVIEW
We’re on the lookout for a Senior Project Manager to join our Sydney team on a contract basis. If you’re passionate about culture, creativity, and the “why” behind what people do, this could be your next big move.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads the forecasting and timely resource planning with the resource team and heads of department
- Run daily project stand ups and able to identify & manage priorities/ conflicting priorities
- Takes ownership and develops strong relationships with all internal departments (and external as relevant) and disciplines to ensure we are delivering exceptional creative output
- Supports the tracking and management of burn against agency resources. Feeding back learnings and projections to the resource team to better facilitate agency resources being deployed
- Leads on project design and ways of working for each programme of work in conjunction with Creative Directors, Business Management, Strategic Lead and Resource team, always striving to innovate ways of working, promote efficiencies and push excellence in creative and delivery
- Responsible for mapping out and managing complex resourcing requirements against each individual project, client demand, stakeholder relationships and deliverables
- Coordinate all programme initiation documentation, engaging relevant Heads of Departments and resourcing to ensure programme scope is feasible, flagging any risks ahead of creative brief sign off, filtering learnings into creative brief
- Responsible for confidently managing and driving a programme of complex creative requirements across multiple disciplines and specialisms, identifying knowledge/resource gaps where necessary and facilitating requirements
- Schedules key project milestones and assign tasks to team members in line with overall timeline alongside the resource team
- Ensures the relevant production and specialist expertise is brought on-board when required
- Manages information flow to all internal (and external as relevant) parties to ensure smooth workflow and project delivery
- Ensures a collaborative working approach and has the ability to manage expectations and set clear objectives both internally and externally, aligning creatives and all integrated production partners, interrogates the process and drives optimisation and integration where appropriate
- Responsible for project wash ups, in line with Business and Production Leads
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 6+ years project management experience within the creative and advertising industry
- Calm, clear headed and collaborative under pressure
- Thrives in ambiguity and able to put structure in place where others cant
- Strong organisational skills and ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities at any one time
- A solutions focused approach
- Bonus is experience in Monday.com
