Project Management is the centre of the production world within the agency, partnering with producers and acting as the conduit for information to reach the client. As a Project Manager you will:

  • Work across TBWA\Melbourne and TBWA\Adelaide on all clients within the agency portfolio.
  • Work on integrated campaigns across channels such as TV, radio, press, OOH, digital and social.
  • Trusted creator by client, their media partners, and the wider agency as well as the central point of contact for all parties on any project.
  • Responsible for leading projects through the agency to take campaigns to market on time and on budget.
  • Facilitate campaign retrospectives and summaries at the completion of each project.
  • Work in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, JIRA and Smartsheets to ensure all projects run
  • seamlessly.

Day-to-day:

  • Day-to-day project management of all projects allocated to you on one or more accounts, from awareness and understanding of the strategic direction and concept to implementation through to production and delivery.
  • Manage job to job financials to ensure all outputs are delivered within estimate, flagging with client and Business Manager/Business Director when overages are likely and ensuring client approval of revised estimates when necessary.
  • Manage timelines and agency resourcing on all allocated production projects.
  • Report all activity on allocated projects back through the Project Director and Business
  • Management for each client portfolio.
  • Successful delivery of world class creative. From guiding the clients directly through projects
  • (on shoots, in meetings) to being the person in the agency that people come to when they
  • have a question on the implementation of a project.
  • Understanding performance of campaigns via Business Management and implementing
  • optimisations where and when identified.
  • Responsible for management of JDR’s for production jobs in collaboration with Business
  • Management.

Client Relationships:

  • Build rapport with clients to develop a strong working relationship.
  • Continuously provide updated information regarding status of work to manage expectations
  • Always look for opportunities (big or small) to go ‘above and beyond’ for the client.
  • Operational:
  • Ensure agency processes are maintained to deliver great work in a smooth and efficient manner.
  • Ensure all deadlines and budgets are met.
  • Timely distribution of estimates, invoices and monthly JDR’s, WIPS and contact reports.
  • Knowledge of relevant advertising standards and regulations affecting our creative output
  • across different media for clients, and knowledge of historic relationships with regulatory bodies.
