The Digital Director is responsible for leading the day-to-day digital journey for our client. Supported by the Data & Tech Lead, the Precision Media Lead as well as the Interactive Director, you will be responsible for the on-going digital media capability and outputs for the client.
Collaboration is a key requirement of this role, as the Digital Director role sits at the intersection of 3 important and distinctive disciplines:
- Data & Tech
- Consumer Journey
- Digital Media
Key Responsibilities:
Data & Tech:
- Provide insights (customer, business, performance) on an on-going basis (Monthly reporting, campaign planning) ensuring the client’s digital media product is reflective of world’s best practice
- Lead data and audience strategy
- Ensure the data and tech strategy is implemented as intended (Naming convention, data strategy, tech stack adoption, KPI measurements)
- Support the development of automated reports across the board
Consumer Journey:
- Support CJ Lead in creating consumer journey maps
- Suggest and support an ongoing test and learn plan
- Ongoing insights and initiative in connecting with consumers throughout the journey
Digital Media:
- Provide Digital Media Strategy
- Foster relationship with key partners (Google, Meta, Car Portals)
- Participate and provide guidance to creatives teams on how ideas can be brought to life in the digital media environment
- Ensure best in class practices from a digital creative perspective
- Manage and develop relevant Managers, Executives and Co-ordinators to support their skills as digital media experts.
Key Working relationships
The Digital Director sits at the center of the digital practices, as a result it is expected that you will have strong and collaborative relationships with:
● Activation Director:
- Provide guidance and a point of view on the Activation tactics
- Assist on conversation with Google, Meta and any regional/global partners
- Ensure implementation of activity follows global guidelines
● Investment Director:
- Support with digital component of negotiation
- Support with global reporting
- Partner in creating the media plans that flow from the strategic platforms
● Interactive Director/Head of Data and Tech:
- Participate in establishing the digital roadmap for clients
- Provide context on what is happening on the ground
- Relay key client information
● Client Head of Digital:
- Ensure day to day communication
- Provide best in class digital recommendations
● Key media and tech partners:
- Ensure clear communication on objectives and expectations
- Provide feedback on recommendations
- Ensure implementation is done following global guidelines
● TBWA Creatives and Strategy/CX Team:
- Provide digital media inspiration
- On a project basis provide digital and social media recommendations
- On a project basis provide audience insight, data and tech audits
