We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Contract Compliance Manager to join our team at TBWA Melbourne. This pivotal role ensures the agency upholds its contractual commitments with clients and maintains a high standard of compliance and accountability.

You will work closely with internal teams and client representatives, supporting governance processes and fostering strong partnerships built on trust and transparency. This role offers flexibility, with the option of part-time hours across five days, making it ideal for someone looking to balance professional responsibilities with personal commitments.

Key Responsibilities

Contractual Oversight:

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all contractual obligations.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the terms and conditions of client contracts.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for contract-related queries within the agency.

KPI Management and Reporting:

  • Ensure all team members are aware of the contractual KPIs agreed upon with the client.
  • Track progress and ensure the agency is on track to meet or exceed these KPIs.
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports on KPI performance, compliance, and operational metrics for both internal stakeholders and clients.

Governance and Communication:

  • Participate in governance meetings with the client, ensuring alignment and clear communication on compliance and KPI progress.
  • Work collaboratively with teams to gather and analyse data for accurate reporting and insights.

Team Engagement and Training:

  • Educate and guide the broader team on their responsibilities under client contracts, with a focus on KPI adherence.
  • Develop and implement processes to ensure ongoing compliance and proactive management of contractual KPIs.

Risk Management:

  • Identify, document, and mitigate compliance risks.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements to minimise potential breaches.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the Operations Director, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to address contractual and KPI-related concerns.
  • Support cross-functional teams in delivering contractually compliant and KPI-driven outputs.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in contract management, compliance, or a similar role, ideally within an advertising or creative agency.
  • A background in finance, with experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), as the role includes responsibility for financial reporting requirements.
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in creating, analysing, and communicating reports, with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with both internal teams and clients.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track and manage performance metrics effectively.
  • Ability to problem-solve and proactively identify areas for improvement.
